The Leadership Coaching happens with 1-to-1 sessions, and is about your coach asking particular questions, mixed with a lot of listening, to discover what may be preventing you from achieving your goals.   With the ‘Hold backs’ out of the way, you now have the space for new ideas and ways to flow in.

The bottom line is the more stretches you convert to strengths, the more effective you will are in achieving successful results.   An amazing side effect (that I refer to as a ripple effect), is that the results you receive from Leadership coaching usually positively affects the other areas of your life – eg relationships, social life, financial areas.

The Leaders of tomorrow are constantly needing to breakthrough & reinvent who they are, & how they can become more effective at bringing success to their business & teams.   Research shows that coaching can increase a Leaders efficacy by up to 60% (E Thach study 2002).

  Coaching is NOT technical guidance, consultancy or training that suggests that if you do ‘X’ then you will get ‘Y’ result, although sometimes these lines can blur

  Coaching is NOT Mentoring, although mentors are usually excellent coaches.   Mentoring doesn’t normally involve their client touching into sensitive areas, although there might be recommendations that follow as a result of an area identified that could be causing barriers to their goals.

What is Mentoring?

Your Mentor is someone who has travelled a similar path before & understands the pitfalls and possible outcomes. Thus creating extra possibilities for you to move forward because of the wisdom gained from their own experiences.

The mentoring sessions provide information, ideas, brainstorming & insights for you to determine the most appropriate path forward.    The outcome is to ensure that the strengths you identify are at their maximum & the stretches you identify can develop within.

Sometimes to help move you forward it might be as simple as the teaching of models that are relevant to your current situation .
